論文執筆・投稿の実際

【講演概要】

論文を読むことと書くことは似て非なるものである。一方、論文を書くことで、論文の読み方も大きく変わるという面白い関係性がある。自身の少ない執筆経験のなかでさえもこのような関係性を強く感じており、結論として、多くの理学療法士に論文執筆・投稿をおススメしたい。

学術的な論文執筆・投稿過程は比較的一般化されたものである。学生時代に教員から求められたレポート課題とは異なり、論文には一定の「型」が求められる。この「型」を掴むことができれば論文執筆は決して難しいものではなく、書けば書くほど指数関数的に執筆能力は向上する。一方、投稿から掲載までの過程は多くの理学療法士にとって未知なるものでもあり、そのハードルは非常に高く感じられるものも事実である。

本講演ではこのハードルを下げるべく、まず、演者自身の執筆・投稿及びその指導経験を解説する。さらには学術誌『総合理学療法学』に掲載された論文をモデルに、論文投稿から受理までの実際の流れを提示し、グループ討論を交えながら論文執筆・投稿に必要なスキルやマインドを学ぶ。

私自身、文章を書くことは苦手で、「とにかく書く」ということを考えていた頃は全くペンが進まないときもありました。しかし、「型」に合わせて作成することで、徐々に執筆ペース・内容が変わっていきました。現在、論文執筆・投稿に少しでも興味がある人は、是非お気軽にご参加下さい。
